Melissa has spent the majority of her life playing competitive soccer, and still enjoys playing many other recreational sports. Due to a serious knee injury, she was unable to continue playing soccer. Which is why she has a passion for treating fellow athletes. Whether it’s consulting them on their diet and nutrition to prepare them for training and competitions. Or treating their injuries with acupuncture, manual therapy, cupping and instrument assisted soft tissue release.
Melissa has a passion for helping people achieve their health goals. She sees a lot of patients for their general health and wellness, including but not limited to pain management, fertility, skin conditions, weight loss, chronic diseases and paediatric care. The modalities she uses are diet and nutritional advice, supplement recommendations, acupuncture (including cosmetic acupuncture), cupping and herbal medicine.
